AMSOIL PTN 320

AMSOIL PTN320 is currently the most widely adopted product in the world as the initial fill oil for wind turbine gear oil.

The fundamental cause of the problems caused by lubricants for wind turbines in gearboxes is the aging degradation of performance imparted by various additives. AMSOIL PTN320 maintains its performance for 10 years due to excellent additive technology. - Additives evolving within the gearbox: Some additives undergo chemical changes within the gearbox, allowing wear resistance and extreme pressure resistance to last for 10 years. - Sustained defoaming performance: Without using solid defoamers, and because the defoaming agents do not degrade quickly due to the base oil, the defoaming performance lasts for 10 years. - Low moisture until waste oil: The vacuum dehydration process during manufacturing guarantees moisture content of new oil below 50 ppm. On-site, excellent water separation and anti-emulsification properties prevent the following issues: reduction of additives, generation of sludge, filter clogging, insufficient oil film, and bearing damage due to hydrogen embrittlement.
